IT BEGAN IN 1989...
A BRIEF HISTORY
1989
The fashion retail business began in 1989 when founder Mohamad Awada opened his first store on his own, just at the age of 23, setting the path for Opera Trading.
2005
In 2005, Opera Trading signs a franchise agreement to open the first Rene Caovilla boutique in the Middle East in Dubai.
2018
Opera Trading opens the first of its kind concept store in the Middle East, branching into new categories like ready-to-wear, fragrances, candles and lifestyle products.
1995
Opera Trading Co. (LLC) was founded in 1995 with the opening of the first Opera Shoes boutique by Mohamad Awada and his wife Luma Awada.
2010
Opera Shoes opens its largest flagship store, a two story complex, in Dubai at the Jumeirah Beach Residence area.
2020
With a new strategy in line, Opera Trading launches its first e-commerce, the online store of VAO Concept Store.
